Farm Gate Field DayThis event focuses on innovating your farm business on farm and beyond the farm gate, exploring options for value adding and diversifying your food production, your pathway to market and your potential for tapping into tourism demand.
For those who decide they want to explore their options further, we will offer support to take the next step towards integrating tourism in their farm business, as this field day will also serve as an introduction to the Farm Gate Producer Pilot Business Development Program, a series of six full-day workshops designed to help you to prepare to establish and/or improve your own food or agritourism business.
Why should I come?- Investigate the opportunity to diversify your existing farm business, with the potential to provide an alternative or additional income stream and a succession plan to keep family members on the land.
